Wondering How To Get From Luton To Heathrow?
To start, let’s look at where the two airports are.
Located 34 miles north of London, the town of Luton is home to the fourth-busiest airport serving London.

Fourteen miles west of Central London, London Heathrow is the United Kingdom’s biggest and busiest airport.

Heathrow is the main hub for British Airways. It has five terminals, four of which are currently in operation.
Getting Between London Luton Airport and London Heathrow Airport
By Train Between Luton Airport And Heathrow Airport
It’s possible to get between the two airports by rail, but it’s not as straightforward as you might think.
To start with, you have to catch the shuttle bus from Luton Airport to Luton Parkway railway station. From there, you will need to take an East Midlands or Thameslink train to London St. Pancras International Station. It takes between 26 and 40 minutes to reach St. Pancras.
Next, you’ll need to walk the length of St. Pancras Station (about 10 to 15 minutes) to catch an Underground (’Tube’) train.
Then, you’ll have two options: 1) take the Tube (about 15 minutes) to Paddington Railway Station and get the Heathrow Express train (15 minutes to Heathrow, but expensive)or;
2) take the Tube all the way to Heathrow (about an hour and usually crowded).
Either way, you’ll have to use the usually busy escalators to go down into the Tube and then again to go up and out.
If you have heavy luggage, going by train between the two airports is to be avoided. Dragging luggage on and off trains and around the Tube can be hard work!
